It can include goods in road, rail, air and sea freight. It allows you to avoid the consequences of loss, partial loss or damage to the goods. It focuses only on the load, its damage, loss or destruction.
“MSC Zoe” is one of the largest container ships in the world. It sails under the Panama flag. On January 1, 2019, on its way from Antwerp in Belgium to the German city of Bremerhaven, a huge freighter in the North Sea lost 270 containers during a storm. Six containers were found in German waters, then in the Netherlands, more than 20 containers were thrown on the beaches of the islands of Vlieland, Terschelling and Ameland. What is OCS?
Civil liability of the Freight Forwarder – this is an insurance against the client and third parties. What is Cargo Insurance?
Cargo insurance, i.e. property insurance in transport, is addressed to the owners of goods who want to protect their property during transport. The property is insured along the entire route and during reloading. This insurance is not compulsory and is limited by certain exemptions, as are OCS and OCP.
What is a deductible franchise?
The deductible is a certain amount of loss that the Insured will be obliged to cover on his own, and the rest will be covered by the Insurance Company.
